Art + Healing in Barcelona
We are so excited at the opportunity to be with Youth With A Mission, Barcelona to teach at their school, inspiració, for artists and creatives.
Freely in Hope’s Nikole Lim, international director, and Maryclare Beche, program designer & storyteller, will be co-teaching on how the intersection of arts and healing has led to transformation in the lives of survivors of sexual violence. Nikole and Maryclare will be sharing stories of impact that Freely in Hope has made—giving platforms for survivors of sexual violence to learn in safe spaces, develop their leadership potential, and share their stories with freedom, hope, and dignity.
Freely in Hope will be teaching at inspiració from November 7-19, 2016
with YWAM, Barcelona
inspiració calls together artists and creatives to discover how God is calling them to use their craft, through a deeper understanding of how art influences cultures and cities today. We are so excited to share our philosophy, approach, and curriculum on storytelling that has proven to give transformative hope to survivors of trauma. Freely in Hope’s curriculum has been informed by the perspective, stories, and experiences of survivors—these methods have resonated deeply with survivors in Kenya and can be adapted for all cultural contexts.
