Sevenly + Freely in Hope
Written by admin on January 15, 2012To usher in the new year, Freely in Hope was the featured cause on Sevenly! Through their support, we are aiming to raise $4,900 in t-shirt sales. For every $22 purchase, $7 goes directly to our programs which helps to protect women from sexual abuse in Kenya. With your support, we can uplift women out of poverty and decrease the vulnerabilities of sexual abuse. Your support will give protection & education to young women, helping them attain jobs and a better living.
Freely in Hope is so grateful for the thousands of tweets, Facebook posts and blog posts from friends, colleagues, mentors and people we don’t even know! It’s truly been a blessing seeing the flood of supporters write about their passion to “unlock freedom” along side of us. Nikole our founder, was just speaking with Marion, our Country Director, the other day reminiscing on how we started with a single story of a girl and this crazy idea that maybe our role was to come along side of her in her pursuit for an education. Little did we know that this work would not only change the lives of the girls we serve in Kenya, but ours as well. We can only hope that our supporters feel the same—changed by the power of a story filled with tenacity and hope.
